Why is Business Coaching Important for Success?
Have you ever thought about using a coach?
Let's make that a little more specific…
Have you ever thought about using a coach to help you improve some aspect of your life?
This doesn't have to be LIFE coaching, with deep digs and travels through the past of your psyche.
Ugh - the thought of that gives me shivers.
I'm thinking more along the lines of advice and guidance from someone else that will help you get better at the things you want to be better at. In case you think that only weak or directionless people need coaching in their lives, don't forget that often times personal coaches are used by people at the highest levels of success.

Internet Marketing Basics: Affiliate Programs
One of the obstacles people come up with for not getting started with business on the internet is not having a product to promote. It turns out there are thousands of people who have made products and sales processes already, and give generous commissions to the people that will help market them.
Out of the thousands of products available, there is likely to be at least one that you either know a lot about already or would like to know about. By virtue of that product existing, there is likely to be a decent market for it since a good author would not put the time and expense into product creation unless they had previously done the market research.
So how does this widespread and potentially lucrative method form the gateway for your internet marketing efforts?

Knowing Your Worth - And Acting on It
Guess what! I found another quality Network Marketing blog!
It may sound odd, but I like to find blogs that remind me of things I know (in addition to cluing me in to things I haven't learned yet). In this case the blog author points out that the limit on the income you can generate for yourself is mainly limited by what you believe you are worth. He then goes on to explain in part how our perceptions and beliefs affect our actions and results.
One further step to take with this knowledge and understanding is to decide what it is in your business is worth your time, and what it makes more sense to hire out. Are you worth more than $5 per hour? If so, then why are you doing $5 an hour jobs in your business?

Getting Noticed With Your Business
I just spent about 45 minutes looking for another good blog focused on network marketing online. This was using the Technorati blog search, applying various filters and poking through content.
It's amazing how much junk there is on the internet. I'm glad we don't have to make landfill space for it!
The downside of this is that it's a challenge to find other leaders with [tag-tec]internet network marketing[/tag-tec] skills to collaborate and share ideas with. The upside (and it can be a big upside) is that you can take advantage of this void by providing real help and guidance to other marketers. Be yourself, let your personality come through, and people like yourself will naturally gravitate to you. Conversely, what happens if you produce junk?

Weekend Volunteer at a Bike Race
This weekend I got to do something that I hope to do more of in the future: volunteer at a biking event.
Up until the past year when I've been more involved with raising our son and working on the internet businesses I would go to a fair number of cycling events as a participant. This was usually a fund raising event, a "recreational" ride like the Seattle-to-Portland (STP), or bike race - mountain or road. I'd always appreciated the service of the volunteers who really make the events go smoothly and sometimes found it hard to believe they were so friendly even though they weren't getting paid for it.
I found out the secret to why they're so friendly: it's a lot of fun!

Keeping In Touch with Your People
You will often hear the slogan "the money is in the list" repeated by marketers ad nausium as if it's a religious mantra. While there is some core truth behind the statement, just repeating it doesn't do anyone much good. I would same the same about pretty much any religious mantra.
Even some of the people repeating this miss the reality that a "list" is made up of people who have opted to receive information from you. You should consider yourself a guest in their email inbox.
Now as a guest, are you going to scream at them to buy something from you as soon as you walk in the door? I sure hope not! That's a sure way to not get invited back, at least in my home. Instead, when you are a guest at someone's home for the first time don't you bring a small gift? Maybe a bottle of wine to have with dinner or flowers for the host. So how do you take the same approach with email?
