Network Marketing: Is It Difficult?
Too many people think that having their own business that they can do from home is going to be "easy". They fall into the trap of believing the hype put out by scam artists that they "build your downline" or "do the work for you" or some other such nonsense.
So it should be pretty obvious to anyone that something that's worth having is going to take time and effort to achieve. It's not going to be easy.
But is it going to be difficult?
Let's explore some of the things that are "difficult" in life.
Digging ditches is difficult. Getting blistered hands for laborer's wages is not the way most people want to spend their time.
Roof tarring is difficult. Spending a hot day on a hot roof spreading viscous liquid that sears the flesh is not what I would want to look forward to when I get up in the morning.
So how about something more professional. Something like a medical profession. These days, physician are working longer hours for less pay. Patients are more demanding and less respectful. As a physician you can get sued at the drop of a hat, which less to outrageous malpractice insurance fees. Mid-way through your career you develop a bleeding ulcer from the stress. Your own health goes downhill as you continue to try and help others.
Yeah, that sounds pretty difficult.
How about engineering (my own "first career"). That can be a lot of fun, but the career path is not as bright as it once was. As a young engineer you get to work on a lot of cool projects and everything is new and exciting. Down the career path you generally get pushed into management. After a decade or so of managing other people doing cool stuff (you actually spend all of your own time in meetings), you get called in for downsizing.
As an engineer in the twilight of your career (say, age in the 50's), you no longer have the technical skills to work on what you originally enjoyed about engineering, and the younger people are cheaper anyway. Companies don't generally hire management from outside for mid level positions, so now you get to figure out how to retire on the wages you earn selling cell phones at Radio Shack.
Is that difficult?
On the other hand, let's take a look at what's involved with [tag-tec]network marketing online[/tag-tec] (at least how it's done through my [tag-tec]MLM training[/tag-tec] program).
The core principle to building your [tag-tec]mlm business[/tag-tec] online is to create "you" and to let your own personality come through. People looking for what you offer will eventually find you and will make a connection - or not. It's all okay! You don't need to chase people down. This is all part of the "personal branding" concept.
So how do you do [tag-tec]personal branding[/tag-tec]? It starts with running your own blog (like this one) and writing something down on a consistent basis. Then you use social networking techniques (which you learn about by clicking here) to spread the word and help people find you.
Of course, you need to have something good to offer people, but the promotion comes down to simple things done consistently.
Maybe this isn't "easy", but compared to many other things, it's not terribly difficult.
What do you think?
