Why Network Marketing Online is Different
It's fairly apparent to most people that a new and different skill set is necessary to effectively use the internet in building your network marketing business. Those that started their business offline and only use the internet to send and receive email have only the faintest glimpse of what is possible.
In fact, for some that glimmer of insight is so faint that they have no concept of how to use the internet as another tool for business growth. They have no idea of the social networks in play and the communities that exist with people interacting at all hours and all over the world.
One way to look at the network marketing community is to put us into two main camps. One camp says that the only way you can really build a strong, lasting organization is to talk with people live and in person. We'll call this the "OnGround Only" camp.
In the other camp you have people that insist on never meeting or talking to people either in person or on the phone. They believe that you can build a strong and lasting organization without ever talking to people. This would be the "Online Only" camp.
And of course you have people that set up somewhere in the middle and use the most effective techniques from both camps.
Have you ever noticed that when you have groups that stake out opposing sides, most people end up somewhere in the middle?
That's starting to become the case with network marketing as the methods for network marketing online become more established and well known.
One of the differences (and strengths) or the internet is that network marketing training can take place at times that are most convenient for both the coach and the student. There are some great ways to get this training. Some is by online video, podcasts (where you download audio files) and online presentations. The majority is still done through eBooks, which generally take you step by step on how to set up your business and your marketing efforts.
Online video, audio and presentations can fill in the details and little steps that my not be apparent in the eBook verson of a training course. Since all of this training is recorded and as accessible as your computer, it's done on your own time and at your own pace. A great course that I use and recommend is called NetMLMProfits and includes each of the training aspects I've mentioned. You can get a some great advice and get a feel for the training material by signing up for the free version of the training here.
If you're just getting started, I can't emphasize enough how much more helpful it is to work online with your business rather than have bits of paper and verbal advice just thrown at you in what seems like a random order. If you're experience in the "OnGround" aspect of network marketing, then you already know how important focus and organization are. This course really delivers that - and more.
