Not Grandpa's Network Marketing Plan
Just today I read a post in an internet marketing forum that implied network marketing was somehow beneath them. I can understand that from a certain perspective, as there are certain groups out there that just push what they call a "bizopp" with no regard to the product that is finally sold. They just focus on trying to get more people into their business plan and try to get them to do the same. There is no long term growth plan and these things only last a few weeks to a few months before they move on to the next one.
Kind of like locusts, but not quite as charming.
Sometimes the perception of "that's not a real business" comes from the history of [tag-tec]network marketing[/tag-tec] being done through in home meetings, hotel meetings, or more recently presentations done over the phone. Internet marketers who don't see this way of doing business as "real" or "sustainable" also have to defend themselves from similar accusations by those only do business offline or in "brick and mortar" stores.
What I always find humorous is that internet marketers who do affiliate programs are doing the same amount of work as [tag-tec]internet network marketers[/tag-tec], but they lose out on on the leverage advantage of network marketing. But that's okay, let's just keep it our secret.
Not Grandpa's Network Marketing Plan
The network marketing business model has been generating great lifestyle income for more than 50 years. It's changed and evolved over time and the real leaders have been able to take advantage of the newer technology developments while still maintaining the personal relationships.
The way I see it, we no longer need to be restricted to "grandpa's" way of doing business. Social networks thrive on the internet and more people are becoming part of the "always connected" genre. Why travel to a hotel meeting when you can have live meetings with video right at home? It will not be too much longer before we can have video meetings by cell phone.
Just a quick note on meetings - they're useful in that it gets everone on the same page moving forward, and more can get done with a group than it can solo.
So the next step in the evolution of network marketing is to have tools that do the mundane work, but it's important to keep the human touch when finally making contact people who have raised their hand and said "I'm ready to build something great!"
Still looking for that plan? Here's the one I use.
