Where to Start with Network Marketing Online
You're excited! You're enthusiastic! You're ready to go!
But where are we going?
Whether you're just adding an online component to your offline business or you're starting from the beginning with the internet, there's one common component. You gotta have something to sell.
Aside from the obvious reason that it helps to generate short term income before the leveraging power inherent in the [tag-tec]network marketing[/tag-tec] model really kicks in, it also weeds out the people who are really not serious about doing business with you. That business may be as a consumer for your product or a member of your business team.
While looking for customers for the product from your company can be a great strategy, it can also be a big challenge depending on how you are permitted to promote the products. With the more established companies in the health and wellness market it seems that they are very protective over their copyrights. They will typically not allow the use of product images, names, logos or other promotional tags that would help show the customer what the products can do.
One way to get around that is actually a good method whether or not you are able to use company trademarks. You can create an information teaser site like the one I have for a product that helps boost the immune system. With that model you offer a report to help solve a problem. In the report you give several solutions, one of which being your product.
In this process you capture the email address of the person requesting the report so that you can continue to follow up with them. Now since they've specifically requested information from you, you should be free to talk about your product by name and include images of the product. This can actually start a dialog with your potential customer and help to differentiate you from everyone else selling similar products.
A similar tactic can be used for promoting your business.
As mentioned in other posts, people really don't care about your business model so much as they want to know what kind of person and leader you are. So sending people directly to a presentation about your business is not going to be the best way to grow your business.
Instead, show your process for developing your business online and how you provide [tag-tec]network marketing training[/tag-tec]. If you don't have one already in place, then that needs to be your first order of business. The process I use for [tag-tec]internet network marketing[/tag-tec] business has an introduction page here. One of the aspects I like about it is that is general enough so that it will work with just about any network marketing business, but it talks directly to network marketers.
In this case the process is to take the concept of social network in the offline world and transfer it online. Become a part of the web community. If you are going to train a group effectively online, then you need to know the tools. These tools are not all that foreign to most of us. Primarily it's communication by email. Any phone calls you choose to make may just be to introduce yourself or congratulate someone on your team with the success they're having. There's no hard selling or scripts involved so it takes the pressure off of everyone involved.
Then of course there are blogs (like this one) and all the techniques to help you get your name out there. When you tie in your own personal branding with an established process that works you manage to put yourself in the way of success.
Now doesn't that sound like a good idea?
